Rev. Bruce Edward Vinecourt, Sr., age 73, of Lambertville, Michigan, died in Christ on Thursday, September 24, 2015. He was born on April 11, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to George Edward and Elsie Pauline (Tews) Vinecourt.
After graduating from Concordia Theological Seminary at Ft. Wayne, Indiana, he served as pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Wood River, Nebraska until his retirement in 2006. He served as vacancy pastor for many Lutheran churches in Michigan, Nebraska and Ohio.
Bruce is survived by his children, Bruce Jr., Lisa and LeAnn; brother George (Cheryl); sisters Linda, Darlene (Donald). He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda (Sloan).
Rev. Tim Loewe will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2843 Sterns Road, Lambertville, Michigan, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Whiteford Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, in Lambertville, Michigan or Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Arrangements by the Michael W.
